A year in the making, Def Jam recording artist 2 Chainz is ready to take his sit on the throne at the top of Hip-Hop with his highly-anticipated new album, Rap or Go To The League. Sticking to the relative theme, the fifth album by the “I’m Different” hitmaker is executive produced by Three-time NBA Champion LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers). The direct follow up to Chainz’s 2017 platinum album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, ROGTTL includes an all-star cast of big-time players like Kendrick Lamar, E-40, Ariana Grande, Kodak Black, Chance the Rapper, Ty Dolla $ign, Young Thug, Marsha Ambrosius, and Travis Scott. Originally announcing the project early 2018, 2 Chainz reveals the meaning behind the title with the following caption:
“With the height of racial tensions across America I felt I should do my part in explaining some of the brainwashing formulas used in my community,” he captioned the video. Welcome to ‘Rap or Go To THE LEAGUE’ My 5th solo studio album and project that shows continued growth, success, and motivation which is playing a role in the shift of the trap paradigm.”
