The first-ever Johannesburg, South Africa edition of the Global Citizen Festival—Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100—takes place today at the FNB Stadium. The latest edition of the festival will feature performances by numerous artists, including Beyoncé and JAY-Z, Pharrell and Ed Sheeran, Black Coffee, Kacey Musgraves, and numerous others. Usher is also reportedly scheduled to perform. Comedian and “Daily Show” star Trevor Noah will host the event, with other co-hosts to appear throughout the evening, including Naomi Campbell, Dave Chappelle, and others.
