Various Artists: Revenge of The Dreamers III [Dreamville/Interscope]

Revenge of The Dreamers III is the long-teased third compilation from J. Cole’s Dreamville label, following December 2015’s II and January 2014’s ROTD. The album features artists from the Dreamville roster (like J. Cole, J.I.D, Ari Lennox, and EARTHGANG, among others) along with outside contributors including Kendrick Lamar, Vince Staples, Ski Mask the Slump God, Ty Dolla $ign, and Smokepurpp. Prior to its release, Dreamville released the REVENGE documentary about the album’s creation.

Bobby Krlic: Midsommar (Original Score) [Milan]

The Soft Cavalry: The Soft Cavalry [Bella Union]

The Soft Cavalry is the husband-wife duo of Slowdive’s Rachel Goswell and musician Steve Clarke. The French poet and sound artist returns with the follow-up to Limpid as the Solitudes, her 2018 collaboration with Jefre Cantu-Ledesma. Inspired by Ravel, Debussy, and Satie, the record features a 19-minute collaboration with Sunn O)))’s Stephen O’Malley.
