Spring Awakening Music Festival is celebrating its first year in its new home, situated right outside of Chicago. SAMF promises 2019 to be the biggest, most immersive Spring Awakening yet. With a strong lineup across all 3 days – it might be hard to lock down a schedule – so we are helping you out and including some of our favorite bass-heavy acts across the three days. With branded stages like Destructo‘s AMF stage and Spring Awakening’s beloved Bass Kitchen – there is something for everyone. Check out some of our favorite bass-centric acts and the full lineup below.

Masteria

Masteria has been thriving on the dark side of house music for the last year. With two EP releases on Tchami’s Confession label, he is very much ready to take it to the next level – and so are we.

Virtual Riot

Virtual Riot is a true master of sound design. If there’s a genre in dance music, Virtual Riot, has at least dabbled in it – but he will no doubt be bringing his brutal take on dubstep to Spring Awakening’s Bass Kitchen stage.

2FAC3D b2b Dogma

What is a festival without its locals? Dogma and 2FAC3D are going to bring their taste of Chicago bass to Spring Awakening. It’s only going to be 3 men on that stage – and if you’re there – you might have a chance to see the destruction they bring. In the words of Dogma – “Tearout isn’t dead.”

Flosstradamus B2B 4B

This massive b2b is going to prove to Spring Awakening that trap music is alive and well. 4B is young – but even at 24 – he is experienced beyond his years and has an ear for bangers that’s second to none. And what else can be said about Flosstradamus and what he’s done for trap music.

Subtronics

Are you ready for double drops? A Subtronics set is unlike any other. He is one of the BEST DJ’s in bass music today, he seamlessly blends 2,3,4 songs all at one. He might not give you a minute to catch your breath – but there won’t be anything like it all weekend.

Peekaboo

If you were at a bass music set in 2018 – odds are you heard Peekaboo and G-Rex’s “Babatunde.” With support from Bassnectar and Skrillex – it’s no surprise it was almost everywhere. Peekaboo’s certain flavor of bass music is a bit ‘weirder’ than some of the other bass acts – but on day 3 of a festival sometimes you need weird.

Crankdat

Crankdat’s debut EP is a culmination of his work as a producer. He’s been teasing some incredible custom visuals created by himself that he plans on taking on tour. If I was a betting man, I would say we would get at least some sort of tour preview.
