Year after year, Coachella produces a lineup to fill the legendary Polo Grounds two weekends in a row. With 8 stages hosting some of the world’s biggest acts in music across three days it’s hard to boil down the lineup to extract some must-sees from the weekend. We picked some of our favorites below. Check out some of our favorite acts playing The Do Lab stage from our previous post.

Anna Lunoe

Simply put – Anna Lunoe knows how to throw a party. Her affinity for music across all different genres paves the way for some incredible sets. Coachella is a festival that boasts the same lineup across two weekends – but Anna Lunoe is not one to play the same set both weekends. Make sure to catch Anna Lunoe if you are ready to dance… and even if you’re not, stop by anyways – she’ll make you dance.

Mansionair

This Australian indie-electro trio just dropped their first full-length album Shadowboxer in March and will be capping off their tour with Coachella performances. Not a bad place to finish off a tour, right? If you have never heard of Mansionair – then let Coachella’s backdrop help introduce you to their absolutely silky songs.

Clozee

Clozee‘s emergence to the scene should be seen as a gift to everyone. This French artist’s love for everything organic gives her a chance to create some of the most complete productions you’ll hear. Her 2018 full-length release, Evasion, was a beautiful journey into a few different regional soundscapes that really paints a picture of where Clozee draws her inspiration from.

Ookay

Ookay has had such an incredible career trajectory. After making a name for himself on the festival circuit playing absolutely chaotic sets filled to the brim with big room house and festival trap tunes he took some time off to reinvent his sound, paving the way for the first-ever Ookay Live Set. His 2018 Wow! Cool Album! was a culmination of this – and I promise you’ll never see a happier performer than Ookay when he is performing songs from this new album.

Shallou

Shallou has a real chance at being one of the prettiest sets of the weekend. His 2018 EP, Souls, was one of the most complete works I heard all year. He combines gorgeous ambient undertones, over light-hearted yet effective percussions and synths with some of the prettiest vocals you’ll hear.

Soulection

The founders of Soulection, Joe Kay and Andre Power, will be bringing their incredible musical experience to Coachella once again after playing the Do Lab stage a few years ago. The Soulection crew will balance the line between jazz, hip-hop, lofi and out of this world beats intoone of the smoothest sets you’ll hear all weekend. With a set at Coachella – we can’t wait to see what kind of special guests they bring along.

Wolfgang Gartner

Wolfgang Gartner is only playing Weekend 2 – but his set at The Heineken House has a chance to be one of the wildest sets of the weekend. The energy inside of the Heineken House is unmatched. Performances are intimate, and the energy bounces off all four walls to amplify every single note. The king of electro is back – and he’s going to show people why.

Gesaffelstein

No one really knows what to expect from Gesaffelstein‘s set – and that’s why it makes the list of must-see acts. Will his set head more in a direction that sounds like his revolutionary Aleph album, or will it sound more like his pop-friendly Hyperion album. We know what kind of performances Gesaffelstein can bring – and I think it’s a no-doubter to say that whichever way he goes, he is going to pull out all of the stops.
