Avicii‘s untimely death last year rocked the music industry and fans to their core. The late producer had been rumored to have a completed album finished before his passing, and it was confirmed for a posthumous release not too long ago.
Over this past weekend, there were pop up installations, dubbed “cubes,” in New York, London, Stockholm, Tokyo, Sao Paolo, and Sydney, where fans could listen to up to three minutes of music. One of the interactive features of the pop up was that the only way to listen to the music was if there was someone else in another of the above cities also using the display.
