Adult Swim has announced Metal Swim 2, the second installment in their metal-focused compilation series Metal Swim, nearly a decade after its inception. The comprehensive release will feature new music from bands including Sunn O))), Baroness, Author & Punisher, Oathbreaker, the Body, Botanist, and more. Curated by Adult Swim writer and producer Laura Sterritt, the streaming-only comp drops May 3. Watch a trailer for that here. The cover artwork was created by comic book creator Becky Cloonan.
Last fall, Adult Swim released a music compilation called Fever Dreams that featured new music by Alice Glass, S U R V I V E, and more. Sunn O))) recently released a new album, Life Metal, named Best New Music.
