Ari Lennox was arrested in Amsterdam today (November 29), with the Dreamville singer disputing it as an incident of racial profiling, Reuters reports. She was detained at the Schiphol Airport by Dutch military police, who handle airport security. Police told Reuters that she was being held for aggressive behavior toward an airline official and for being drunk in public. The Dutch authorities declined to say when she would be released from custody, citing an ongoing investigation of other threats they claim Lennox made.

Lennox tweeted about the incident as it was in progress. “I just want to go home. I’ll never leave my house again,” she wrote. Police spokesman Robert van Kapel told Reuters, “Our unit found a woman full of emotions, that wouldn’t calm down. That’s why she had to be taken into custody.”

Pitchfork has contacted Ari Lennox’s representatives for additional comment and information.
