Bad Bunny is the first of the three Coachella 2023 headliners to take the stage at the festival in Indio, California. He’s the first Latin or Spanish-language artist to headline the festival.

In 2018, Bad Bunny and J Balvin joined Cardi B during her Coachella set to perform their hit “I Like It.” The following year he had his own set on the main stage, and invited J Balvin back to perform the song again, along with “Sensualidad,” their posse cut with Prince Royce, Dj Luian, and Mambo Kingz. Two months later Balvin and Bad Bunny would release their collaborative LP Oasis.

Last year’s Un Verano Sin Ti netted Bad Bunny a handful of awards, with the single “Tití Me Preguntó earning him Latin Grammys for Best Urban/Fusion Performance and Best Urban Song in November. In February, Bad Bunny opened the main Grammys award show with a performance of “El Apagón” and “Despues de la Playa,” winning the trophy for Best Música Urbana Album
