The actor set to play Elvis Presley in the upcoming Baz Luhrmann-helmed biopic has been revealed. Austin Butler, who starred in the TV shows “The Carrie Diaries” and “Arrow,” will play Presley, THR reports. It’s also been announced that Tom Hanks will play Col. Tom Parker, who was Presley’s infamous manager who almost single-handedly guided the singer’s career. The Warner Bros. feature is currently untitled. Luhrmann penned the script alongside Craig Pearce.

A series of 50th anniversary Elvis releases are on the way this year. They collect unreleased music surrounding his 1969 Las Vegas residency and sessions behind his iconic album From Elvis in Memphis.
