We first took notice of the mau5trap producer when We Are Friends, Vol. 7 released, with his “KT” remix for BlackGummy. He has been silently releasing music over the past year or so, which we believe is more deserving of being shouted through a megaphone than keeping quiet.
His new one, “Escape” blurs the lines of reality with a graceful and unforgiving soundscape. The producer masterfully designs a heavy groove with another, stuttering pattern beneath it. The lush vocals and little intricacies are worth drooling over, as Bentley Dean welcomes us to his world.
