Jack Antonoff has announced the latest entry in long-running Terrible Thrills series, which sees female artists re-interpret his music. (The series got its start with Antonoff’s pre-Bleachers band Steel Train in 2010; Vol 2. was released as a companion to the Bleachers album Strange Desire.) Vol 3. will be released as a 7″ vinyl series, as SPIN points out, with contributing artists to include Mitski, Julien Baker, Muna, and Ani DiFranco. Find more information on the release here.
Vol 3. will see those artists rework songs from Antonoff’s most recent Bleachers album, Gone Now. The pop producer has most recently been collaborating with Lana Del Rey, appearing with the singer at a recent Apple event to perform a new song, “How to Disappear.”
