A new documentary about Chris Cornell is on the way, as Variety reports and a representative from Cornell’s estate confirms to Pitchfork. The film will be produced by Cornell’s widow Vicky, along with Brad Pitt and Peter Berg’s Film 45 production company. Berg will also direct the as-yet-untitled documentary. A projected release date has not yet been announced.
Earlier this year, a tribute concert for the late Soundgarden frontman took place in Los Angeles. Performers included Fiona Apple, Metallica, Josh Homme, and others.
