Caroline Polachek has announced a deluxe version Desire, I Want to Turn Into You. Just like the original, the deluxe album is out on Valentine’s Day (February 14) via Perpetual Novice. Included on the new album is an updated version of “Butterfly Net,” now featuring Weyes Blood. Listen to it below.
Desire, I Want to Turn Into You: Everasking Edition will include “Dang,” the single that Polachek performed last year on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Polachek co-produced many of the deluxe edition’s songs with frequent collaborator Danny L Harle.
Polachek, Harle, and some of their technical collaborators were nominated for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, at the 2024 Grammy Awards, but the gilded gramophone went to Victoria Monét and her co-engineers on Jaguar II.
