Conor Oberst has announced two four-date residencies in New York and Los Angeles next year. The first, at L.A.’s Teragram Ballroom, runs every Thursday in March; the New York residency will takes place every Thursday in April at the Bowery Ballroom. See a full itinerary below.

Billed as “Conor Oberst and Friends,” the two residencies will feature a rotating backing band and surprise guests, per a release. Oberst shared of the shows: “It will be an experiment for sure. Looking forward to it. Not completely sure how it will all turn out but that is the best part about it.”

Oberst released his most recent solo album, Salutations, in 2017. Over his career, the Bright Eyes frontman has been a part of multiple different outfits, including Desaparecidos and the Mystic Valley Folk Band. He is also a member of the supergroup Monsters of Folk and the duo Better Oblivion Community Center, the latter of which is rounded out by Phoebe Bridgers.
