In late February, Crankdat announced that his debut EP Gearworld Vol. 1 would be releasing on Kayzo‘s new Welcome Records imprint. He described the upcoming EP as, “A body of work showcasing the world I’ve always wanted to create with my own music.” Today we are met with the first song off the project. Just one listen through is a reminder of why Crankdat had such a tremendous 2018. “Welcome To The Jungle” combines a couple of polarizing vocals before blending a deep, grinding, growling bass sound we have come to expect from this young producer.
