Depeche Mode have shared more details about their upcoming album. Memento Mori will be released on March 24 via Columbia. The album will include a new single called “Ghosts Again,” which arrives with its own music video. In the visual, Dave Gahan and Martin Gore play chess on an urban rooftop and perform together in a cemetery. Find the video, along with the artwork and tracklist for the album, below.

The band revealed that a new album was on the way last fall, roughly five months after the death of founding member Andy “Fletch” Fletcher. “We started work on this project early in the pandemic, and its themes were directly inspired by that time,” Martin Gore said of the record at the time. “After Fletch’s passing, we decided to continue as we’re sure this is what he would have wanted, and that has really given the project an extra level of meaning.”

Dave Gahan added: “Fletch would have loved this album. We’re really looking forward to sharing it with you soon, and we can’t wait to present it to you live at the shows next year.” Memento Mori follows Depeche Mode’s 2017 LP Spirit.

Along with teasing the new full-length last year, Depeche Mode announced a slate of North American and European tour dates, kicking off March 23 in Sacramento, California. An arena tour of Europe follows, stretching into August. The band has also been enlisted for Primavera 2023.
