Diplo And John Mayer Have A Collaboration Coming

It seems like Diplo has collaborated with everyone this year. From his California EP, which featured the likes of Lil Yachty, Trippie Redd, DRAM, and Lil Xan, to his singles alongside MØ and Ellie Goulding, Diplo has had a massive year. To top that, he also started two new side projects Silk City and LSD, in which he worked with Mark Ronson, Dua Lipa, Sia, Labrinth, GoldLink, and Desiigner. And don’t forget Major Lazer’s collaborations with Cashmere Cat and Tory Lanez and Tove Lo. At this point, who hasn’t Diplo worked with?

Well, according to a recent Instagram post, Diplo is already back in the studio working on his next collaboration alongside John Mayer. He shared a photo of himself holding a baby goat in Jamaica for his 40th birthday along with the caption:

“I wanted to post a picture of me and John Mayer last night working in the studio because I know it would have been a moment. Something of a benchmark in my augmented reality of Instagram … But then I never even thought to ask – as the idea of stopping real time (while we were both in a state of creative delight) to create something fake for me to revel in and build engagement around my brand … It just seemed awkward. So instead – here is a picture of a baby goat I got in Jamaica for my birthday. And expect some new music with John soon.”

Basically, all you need to know is that Diplo is, in fact, working with John Mayer and their new music will be coming soon.
