Ekali is still in the throes of his current EP tour and he’s just announced a full album set for release sometime in 2019.

Honestly, this sounds as much like goal affirmation as an announcement, a promise to himself to get it done. “No producer collabs, no ghost production, I’m gonna mix and master it myself,” he followed up. “I am so excited about it.”

Ekali’s latest Crystal Eyes EP features collaborations on five out of the six tracks, so a claim of “no producer collabs” holds special weight, especially in a year fraught with so many.

No other information on track list or release date is available, but you heard it here first: expect an Ekali album next year.
