Ellie Goulding has collaborated with some of the biggest names in dance music — Calvin Harris, Diplo, and Major Lazer. Now, in an unlikely pairing, she’s working with Sir David Attenborough to bring Our Planet the theme song it deserves.

According to a report, Sir Attenborough has enlisted in Goulding for his project, a new nature documentary series on Netflix titled Our Planet. The singer is revving up an “environmental anthem” called “In This Together.” To add to the high profile production, it’s being recorded at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios.

Oscar-winning composer Steven Price, the man behind the soundtrack to Gravity, wrote the song and needed a voice. Being an Environment Global Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations, Goulding couldn’t be a better fit for the part.

A report from The Sun shares some of the prospected lyrics: “I can hear the whole world saying it’s now or never. ’Cos it’s not too late if we change our ways and connect the dots.”

This collaboration, though unexpected, has been long in the works. Back in 2014, Goulding spoke about using Sir Attenborough’s voice in her music:

“I’ve written a lot of songs about relationships and break-ups. I feel like my next album is going to be about the beginning of the universe   and also watching    documentaries and loving David Attenborough — his voice and his knowledge is amazing. If I could somehow utilize his voice in a recording with me, it would be awesome — a chance to make a point with my music and his authority.”
