Fabric Records’ long-running Fabriclive mix series came to an end last year with a final installment from Kode9 and Burial. Now, the Fabric team has announced Fabric Presents, a series that plans to “expand on the winning formula of its predecessor, introducing a more open musical palette without losing sight of its past.” The first DJ to helm the series will be Bonobo, whose mix features a new original song called “Ibrik.” Take a listen to that below and find more info here.
Fabric Presents will release the individual tracks found on each mix in addition to the full, unedited mix. “The artists invited to participate in this series will reflect the full calendar of nights at fabric, including the more recent ‘Forms’ events, new midweek programming and festival tie-ins; not forgetting the iconic FABRICLIVE and Saturday night parties,” reads a press release from Fabric. Fabric Presents Bonobo arrives February 22.
