Fetty Wap was arrested yesterday on federal drug charges, The Associated Press reports. The arrest reportedly occurred at Queens, New York’s Citi Field, where Fetty Wap was scheduled to perform as part of Rolling Loud New York. As Rolling Stone notes, festival attendees tweeted that Fetty Wap did not take the stage last night. When reached by Pitchfork, a representative for the festival said, “Rolling Loud had no prior knowledge.”

According to the federal indictment, obtained by Pitchfork, Fetty Wap is one of six men being charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances. The five other defendants, but not Fetty Wap, are being charged with one count of using firearms in connection with a drug trafficking crime, too.

According to the indictment and a press release from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, Fetty Wap and the five other men are alleged to have “distributed more than 100 kilograms of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and crack cocaine across Long Island and New Jersey.” Fetty Wap, in particular, was “was a kilogram-level redistributor for the trafficking organization,” according to the press release.

Pitchfork has reached out to representatives for Fetty Wap for comment and more information.

Fetty Wap has faced several legal issues in recent years, including a 2019 arrest in Nevada for allegedly assaulting three employees at a Las Vegas hotel. The misdemeanor battery charges were dismissed in 2020. Later in 2020, Fetty Wap was sued by a woman who claimed that the rapper strangled her and punched her during an incident inside of his Los Angeles home in June 2019. Fetty Wap was also charged with driving under the influence in November 2017.
