triple j has unleashed its “Hottest 100” 2018!
The list details the most popular songs of the year, as voted on by listeners. With more than 2.7 million votes cast, this is the biggest “Hottest 100” countdown of all time and there’s some damn good music in the mix.
Ocean Alley‘s smooth smash “Confidence” takes the cake. It’s no surprise that Fisher is right up there with his massive tech house banger “Losing It,” coming in at the number 2 spot. Those songs are followed by Travis Scott‘s “Sicko Mode” at number 3.
Childish Gambino, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Halsey, Khalid, Drake, Mac Miller and more rank on the list, with some artists placing multiple times. RÜFÜS DU SOL, Alison Wonderland, Mark Ronson, Benny Blanco and more represent electronic music on the “Hottest 100.”
