Lil Skies fans will be delighted to hear about the rapper’s short documentary that just premiered on his YouTube channel. Titled Shelby, the 4-minute video is dedicated to his mother, and shows clips of the rapper and her sharing their thoughts, as well as some rowdy show and studio footage. Towards the end, the 20-year-old rapper even discloses he is about to be a father soon. The whole video is short yet emotional, touching on Lil Skies’ early struggles and road to the international success he’s enjoying now.
Lil Skies’s sophomore 14-track album Shelby was released February 28th, and was met with praise from fans and publications alike. Production credits include CashMoneyAP, Otxhello, Danny Wolf and Dilip, while Gucci Mane, Gunna and long-time collaborator and friend Landon Cube mark the only vocal features.
