Bass-loving EDC-goers were hoping for a nice, gentle refractory period after the year’s biggest rave in the desert, there is no such luck for LA heads. Coming off a killer set in the Basspod themselves and gearing up for a massive tour to support their Mystery Machine, Matrix & Futurebound are hitting LA to debut their “Matrix & Futurebound Present” club series with the help of Bassrush and Respect this Thursday, May 23. This is an endurance test, kids, and if Matrix & Futurebound, Bassrush and Respect can do it, so can you.

With their album, a run of shows at the famed XOYO in London and still buzzing from EDC, it’s no surprise that Matrix & Futurebound wanted to hit LA running. Teaming up with two of the biggest promotion companies at one of the best LA venues, Exchange, only made sense. All three parties are known for being able to pull great lineups, but this one will be truly stellar: along with a massive set from Matrix & Futurebound themselves, Bassrush and Respect will also be hosting Black Sun Empire, Tantrum Desire and a special B2B set from Mob Tactics and Rene LaVice. Local flavor will come in the form of another B2B set from hometown heroes Scooba and Replicant and MCs Dino and Dre will be keeping the crowd hype, although with this lineup it won’t be a difficult job.

If there was ever a good reason to rally after EDC, this is it. It’s time for the LA bass family to hit the dancefloor one more time and turn up with this incredible lineup. Tickets and info are available on the Facebook event page.
