In February 2018, Frank Ocean filed a lawsuit against Blonde producer Om’Mas Keith after the producer claimed he deserved co-writing credit for the majority of the songs on Blonde. Ocean had alleged that Keith was brought on as a work-for-hire producer and paid a flat fee for his contributions to the album. In response, Om’Mas Keith countersued Frank Ocean in spring 2018.

Now, both suits have been dropped, The Blast reports and Pitchfork can confirm. According to documents viewed by Pitchfork, Ocean and Keith reached a “negotiated settlement executed by them” that closes both cases. Ocean and Keith pay their own legal fees, according to the documents.
