The nominees for the 2024 Grammy Awards have been announced. SZA landed the most nominations this year with nine total. She’s followed by Victoria Monét and producer Serban Ghenea, who each have seven nods. Phoebe Bridgers also has seven nods, which is one more than her bandmates in Boygenius. Other six-time nominees for 2024 include Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, Miley Cyrus, and Brandy Clark.

SZA’s nominations include SOS’ nod for Album of the Year and both Song and Record of the Year for “Kill Bill.” SOS also received the nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album. Other nominations include Traditional R&B Performance (“Love Language”), Best R&B Song (“Snooze”), Best R&B Performance (“Kill Bill”), and Best Melodic Rap Performance (“Low”). “Ghost in the Machine,” her Bridgers collaboration, was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker also received multiple nominations for their inaugural full-length with Boygenius, The Record. They’re nominated for two of the big four categories: Album of the Year (The Record) and Record of the Year (“Not Strong Enough”). The latter song is also nominated for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. “Cool About It” is among the nominees for Best Alternative Music Performance, and The Record is up for Best Alternative Music Album.

Taylor Swift’s Album of the Year nod for Midnights marks her sixth nomination in the category. She is now tied with Barbra Streisand for most Album of the Year nominations for a female artist. If she wins this year, Swift will become the first artist to win Album of the Year four times. Her other nominations are for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance (“Anti-Hero”), plus Best Pop Vocal Album (Midnights), and Best Pop Duo/Group performance for (“Karma” with Ice Spice).

Victoria Monét had a strong showing at this year’s Grammys with a nod for Best New Artist. “On My Mama” picked up nominations for Record of the Year and Best R&B Song; she also received nominations for Best R&B Album (Jaguar II), Best R&B Performance (“How Does It Make You Feel”), and Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Hollywood”).
