Radio personality Howard Stern is currently working on a new song produced by Mark Ronson, as Billboard notes. During a recent appearance on Stern’s show, Ronson discussed the track, which was written by Stern Show staffer Fred Norris and will be recorded this afternoon (January 29). According to Billboard, the as-yet-untitled track will feature Haim on background vocals and contributions from the Roots’ horn section.

During the conversation, Stern explained the genesis of the song, comparing his vocal delivery to the B-52s’ Fred Schneider. “I could yell out some shit and have a hit song,” he said. Ronson added, “I don’t want to make you do anything you don’t usually do. Take that voice, the platinum thing anyway, and just make it the star of the show.” Read the full story at Billboard.
