Jamie xx has tapped Australian electronic group the Avalanches for another new song from In Waves, his long-awaited sophomore album. “All You Children” is a reunion for the artists, who previously collaborated on “Wherever You Go,” from the Avalanches’ 2020 album, We Will Always Love You. Check it out below.

“The Avalanches have always been an inspiration for me,” Jamie xx said in a statement about the new song. “Their sample technique and how they piece together different sounds is incredible, and collaborating on a track with them has showed me new ways of making music.”

In Waves arrives September 20 via Young. Jamie xx’s follow-up to his breakout solo debut, 2015’s In Colour, includes the singles “Treat Each Other Right,” “Baddy on the Floor,” and the Robyn-starring hit “Life.”

Jamie xx just wrapped up his club residency, the Floor, in New York, but he still has a Los Angeles run planned that kicks off tonight and lasts on through August 3. “For years I’ve been dreaming of opening my own club, a place that represents my experiences in the best of London’s underground club scene; the intimacy, the community, the curation, the sound,” he said when explaining the idea behind the sets.
