Recognized as one of his best work ever, music mogul Jay-Z‘s 2001 album, The Blueprint is now identified as “culturally important”. Joining NWA, Tupac, Run DMC, Jay-Z becomes the ninth Hip Hop project to be inducted into national recording registry known as Library of Congress.
The classic Hip Hop album is now preserved alongside iconic relic like the 1968 Robert Kennedy speech. The Blueprint is Jay’s sixth solo album via Roc-a-Fella/Def Jam. It includes classic hits, “Girls Girls Girls”, “Takeover”, “Song Cry”, “Izzo (H.O.V.A.)”, and “Renegade”. The album birthed two sequel collectives, The Blueprint 2 (2002) and The Blueprint 3 (2009).
Def Jam took to Twitter to congratulate the former label artist on his iconic accomplishment with the following tweet, shown below.

Jay-Z becomes only the 9th hip-hop recording act to be inducted.
