Labrinth has shared a new song featuring vocals from Billie Eilish. Check out “Never Felt So Alone” below. In a new interview with Eddie Francis on Apple Music 1, Labrinth talked about approaching Eilish with the song:
Labrinth co-produced “Never Felt So Alone” with Billie Eilish’s brother, Finneas. The new track follows Labrinth’s 2022 singles “Lift Off,” “Kill for Your Love,” and “Iridium.” Labrinth has been teasing a new album called Ends & Begins.
An early version of “Never Felt So Alone” had been previewed in Euphoria, the hit HBO series that Labrinth scores. Labrinth and Eilish also performed the song at one of Eilish’s December concerts at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
In 2020, Labrinth won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for Euphoria’s “All for Us.” Coming up, he’ll perform at the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 15 and April 22.
Eilish, who appears in Donald Glover’s new series, Swarm, released her last album, Happier Than Ever, in 2021. Last year, she headlined Coachella and released two new songs, “TV” and “The 30th.” She also won an Academy Award. After winning all of the “big four” awards in 2020, she was shut out at the Grammy Awards in 2022.
