The enigmatic Japanese rock band Les Rallizes Dénudés formally released just three albums during their nearly-30-year run: The albums—67-’69 Studio et Live, Mizutani / Les Rallizes Dénudés, and ’77 Live—all came out on CD in 1991. Now, Temporal Drift has announced that it will reissue all three albums.

The albums will get released digitally, as well as on CD and LP. The digital releases are set for November 25, and, as of now, the CDs are set to ship in November 2022, and the vinyl will ship in the first quarter of 2023. There will be exclusive color vinyl variants of the LPs from Temporal Drift’s Bandcamp, distributor Light in the Attic, and vinyl producer Third Man Pressing. The reissues will feature audio remastered by former Les Rallizes Dénudés member Makoto Kubota, as well as liner notes from Manabu Yuasa and Shinya Matsuyama.

Les Rallizes Dénudés formed at Kyoto’s Doshisha University in 1967, and the band continued to perform until 1996. The group was led by Takashi Mizutani, who died in 2019. Earlier this year, Temporal Drift released the archival collection The Oz Tapes, which included Les Rallizes Dénudés’ “White Awakening / 白い目覚め.”
