Last month, Rolling Stone announced that it was launching its own music charts in competition with Billboard’s. Today, the magazine has launched the Rolling Stone 100 songs chart, Rolling Stone 200 albums chart, Rolling Stone Artists 500 chart, the Rolling Stone Trending 25, and the Rolling Stone Breakthrough 25. Find more details via RSstatement.

Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” tops the inaugural RS 100, while the Raconteurs’ Help Us Stranger earns the first-ever top slot on the RS 200. Drake leads the RS Artists 500 and Seaforth’s “Love That” heads up the RS Trending 25.

The Artist 500 ranks the most-streamed artists, the Breakthrough 25 highlights artists appearing on the charts for the first time, and the Trending 25 looks at songs making big gains in popularity. The new singles chart is updated daily as opposed to every week. Rolling Stone’s charts will also include more streaming data. The new charts are designed to make the ranking calculations more transparent to readers.
