Seeing a release through Liquid Stranger‘s Waakan is the brand new EP from EAZYBAKED. Having combined their individual talents to create a musical partnership, the past few years have been a whirlwind journey for the long-time best friends.
They round off 2018 with the ‘Alone With Yourself’ EP, seven tracks that meander through varied bass styles with the highest caliber. The collection opens with the throbbing ‘Vessel,’ coupling a striking bassline with razor-sharp rhythmicality. ‘3D’ is deeply atmospheric, whilst the title track takes hold with low-end gargled synths.
EAZYBAKED have collaborated with G-Space on the deliciously wonky ‘Facelift’ and ‘Changes’ proves a powerful listen with its use of sampling and biting bass riffs. The penultimate track comes as the reverbing ‘Mirage,’ at fitting prelude to ‘Freedom,’ which is filled with fuzzy top-line melodies and warped, immersive effects.
