PT Mind Palace

Talented Seattle artist Pedestrian Tactics breaks months of silence with his new single. “Mind Palace” is a genre-bending track that offers a captivating glance into the conflicted mind of a meticulously calculating bedroom producer. This track hints at the struggle of being isolated within the elaborate dwelling of his own creative design, balancing the dichotomy between captivity and wanderlust by indulging the boundless expanse of his insuppressible imagination.

Mind Palace” is adorned with percussive regalia, entrancing rhythmic variations, and exotic motifs taken from his recent ventures in Southeast Asia. Sounds of nature and resonant vocal cuts give the sense that you’re outside experiencing the world around, but this track’s uplifting tone still hints at a sorrowful longing. PT constructs an ambiance of adventure and intrigue, coupled with his signature glitchy, hip hop-rooted sound. He plays with subtle dissonance and atonality giving the impression, much like the inner-workings of one’s mind, that there’s something slightly amiss.

Pedestrian Tactics is a severely underrated artist whose name is not as well known as his music. His intricate and creative futuristic bass music tracks have been picked up by many notable artists over the years and played on elaborate stages around the globe.

In addition to consistently original tunes, Pedestrian Tactics creates his own album art, graphic design work, and promotional videos. He’s now back in Seattle focusing on audio experimentation, music production, and playing occasional live shows.
