If you haven’t heard of Pontifexx, then today is your lucky day. He’s a young rising star, hailing from Brazil, who’s just 21 and has already has more than 20 million plays in his last 10 releases. He has received support from big names such as Nicky Romero, Ferry Corsten, Goldfish, Bakermat, Autograf and Sam Feldt. Not to mention his presentation on the Perry Stage of Lollapalooza Brazil, which earned him the title of the youngest artist in the entire line-up of 2019’s edition.
The secret of the young man from São Paulo is to tell deep stories in each of his tracks, which are a reflect all his feelings. This can be seen and heard in his newest EP, the first of his musical career, ‘The Light’. It was produced entirely in collaboration with Deadline and is packed with four incredible tracks you’ll find yourself wanting to listen to over and over again.
Combining elements of progressive house & trance with his own signature style, both Pontifexx and Deadline created an EP that truly stands out. My favorite track is “You and Me”, it’s flawless from start to finish with an electrifying arrangement.
