Mica Levi (aka Micachu) has scored a new movie called Monos, as Film Music Reporter notes. The film, directed by Alejandro Landes, is scheduled to screen this winter at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, as part of the World Cinema Dramatic Competition. It is Landes’ third feature film, following 2011’s Porfirio.
Mica Levi previously scored the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis biopic Jackie. Levi’s work on Jackie earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Score in 2017. Mica Levi also received acclaim for her score to Jonathan Glazer’s sci-fi horror film Under the Skin.
