A couple of weeks after his last Broadway performance, Morrissey will release a new covers album called California Son. The record includes contributions from Grizzly Bear‘s Ed Droste, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Broken Social Scene member Ariel Engle, singer/songwriter LP, and others. It’s out May 24 via Étienne Records/BMG.
