Mount Eerie has shared a new field recording consisting of “fireworks and wind recorded July 4th, 2019 from outside town.” In a note on Bandcamp, Phil Elverum writes, “no big deal, no reason for this recording, no physical release.” He continues, “the wind gradually increases.” Hear it below.
Later this month, Elverum will perform a live set in his hometown of Anacortes, Washington under his former monicker, the Microphones. Joining him on the bill are Black Belt Eagle Scout, Karl Blau, Little Wings, and others.
