A new track from XXXTentacion and Lil Pump, produced by Skrillex, with features from Swae Lee and Maluma is out today. The song comes four months after XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Onfroy, was shot and killed in an alleged attempted robbery.
The song, “Arms Around You,” features a tropical, dance hall beat and smooth vocals. While it’s usually fairly easy to place Skrillex’s production influence on a track, this one is a bit more difficult. Though, perhaps the cleanliness of the production is evidence enough, even without his telltale vocal chops.
The song was teased by Skrillex yesterday in a since-deleted tweet that tagged all the track’s partners, as well as co-producers Mally Mall and Jon FX.
