Beth Gibbons has shared the latest single from her solo album Lives Outgrown. “Lost Changes” comes with a video from the photographer Juno Calypso in her directorial debut. Check it out below, ahead of the album’s release on May 17.
Lives Outgrown, produced by James Ford, was a decade in the making, a press release for the album noted. It comes some 16 years after the final Portishead album to date, Third. Her interim projects include her appearance on Kendrick Lamar’s “Mother I Sober,” a JJ Doom collaboration, a Black Sabbath cover with a metal band, and a song called “Prospera’s Coda” for a movie of The Tempest.
