Monstercat created a niche in the EDM world that fits somewhere between the internet, mainstream, and everyone looking for something a bit off the beaten path. Well it seems to have paid off with now 45 employees and $10 million in annual revenue. This Canadian label has featured releases from artists such as Marshmello, Knife Party, Dion Timmer, Modestep and Taska Black….just to name a few.

This one may be the most obvious. If you turned on a radio in the last 365 days, it was almost impossible to not stumble upon a Post Malon song or feature. At just 23 years old, Post Malone has topped charts and headlined music festivals all around the world. At his peak he may have been the most universally liked person in music.
