Making his official debut, Jaenga looks for a statement to be made with his “Toulambi” EP. Finding a home in Zeds Dead‘s prominent Deadbeats label, it looks as if this bright New Yorker is finding his talents invested by many of his idols. Offering a hefty 4-track project, each record packs a nasty punch that is fueled by dark and grueling bass. The sinister display of sound design and intensity put on throughout each track is uncanny. Giving fans an earful, the production quality of this extended play is very much worth mentioning. Jaenga’s presence has been felt, and it is clear that he is here to stay.
