Tomorrowland is known for its high production value and some of the most extravagant stages in the entire world. It comes as a surprise that one of the music festival’s designers has been forced to call it quits.

According to multiple reportsNeverland Themepark Projects has gone bankrupt and will not be lending its services for Tomorrowland or other events in the years to come.

In a statement, Neverland’s founder Kurt Heerman says they didn’t go down without a fight:

We inform you that Neverland Themepark Projects is no longer active. We want to thank you for the years of cooperation and trust. This message will come in hard, we are well aware of that. With our whole team we have been fighting until the last minute, but due to a combination of circumstances we are forced to close the doors of Neverland definitively. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience that we may cause you.

A spokesperson for Tomorrowland assures this won’t affect the music festival’s grand production. “We work with twelve decor builders of which Neverland is one of them,” she explains. “The main stage is too complex to be made by one set builder anyway.”

The show must go on.
