There was much excitement and anticipation. There was also a lingering anxiety that she might not ever finish or share it with the world, but all of those feelings were put to rest when it all came together, very quickly in fact, and she revealed that her “Divinity” Rezz Remix was complete.
Her tour stop in Montreal at New City Gas last night proved to be the perfect setting to share this kind of magic. While Space Mom typically takes us on a dark, hypnotic journey, she traded all that in for the bursts of euphoria heard in Porter Robinson’s masterful track from Worlds. Rezz truly did the track justice and then some by working in her signature sound in a tasteful manner — both worlds perfectly collide.
