Global superstar Rihanna sat down with The New York Times’s T Magazine regarding her future album work and what we can expect on the project.
There’s no release date yet, and it’s still officially untitled, but she admitted to likely calling it R9, as that’s what she hears most from fans: “I’m about to call it that probably, ’cause they have haunted me with this ‘R9, R9, when is R9 coming out?’ How will I accept another name after that’s been burned into my skull?”
It’s been rumored that there will be a collab between her and Lady Gaga, but that, unfortunately, may stay a rumor. On the topic, she said: “Maybe because she followed me on Instagram. It’s not in the books right now, but I’m not against it.”
