Saba has shared a new song from his Pivot Gang collective, “Jason Statham, Pt. 2.” The track comes with an Addison Wright-directed video that sees some of the members of the crew—Saba, his brother Joseph Chilliams, and rapper MFnMelo—perform the song in the snow. Watch that below. Pivot Gang are set to release a new album later this year, their first release as a group since 2013’s JIMMY mixtape. Last year saw the release of Saba’s latest solo album CARE FOR ME.
Saba will sit down for an interview later today on Pitchfork Radio at the inaugural Midwinter later today, broadcasting live from the Art Institute of Chicago. He and Pivot Gang’s squeakPIVOT are also set to preview new songs from the upcoming album. Pitchfork Radio broadcasts throughout the entire Midwinter weekend, beginning at 6 p.m. Central today, Friday, February 15.
