Serpentwithfeet has announced his third album, Grip, with the music video for the new song “Damn Gloves,” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Yanga YaYa. The album is due out February 16 via Secretly Canadian. Check out the Micaiah Carter–directed video for “Damn Gloves” below.

“Damn Gloves” is not the first time Serpentwithfeet and Ty Dolla $ign have collaborated: Ty Dolla $ign featured on Serpentwithfeet’s 2019 track “Receipts,” and Serpentwithfeet returned the favor on the 2020 LP Featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Of the new song, Serpentwithfeet said in a statement: “I didn’t wanna waste this chance to celebrate my waist in his hands.”

Grip follows Serpentwithfeet’s 2021 album, Deacon, and its companion EP, Deacon’s Grove.
