Soccer Mommy Shares New Magdalena Bay Remix of “Shotgun”

Soccer Mommy has shared Magdalena Bay’s remix of her Sometimes, Forever cut “Shotgun.” Sophie Allison has also announced an August 22 performance at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, as well as her musical guest slot on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, August 23. Sometimes, Forever—Allison’s third studio LP as Soccer Mommy—arrived in June following the release of “Shotgun,” “Unholy Affliction,” “Bones,” and “NewDemo.” Allison recently hosted a metaverse listening party for the new album. The LP was produced by Daniel Lopatin aka Oneohtrix Point Never. Allison is currently touring behind the record.

Magdalena Bay issued their debut full-length, Mercurial World, last year. In July, the Los Angeles duo shared “Chaeri (Danny L Harle Remix),” the first taste of the forthcoming Mercurial World Deluxe LP. The expanded edition of their first studio album will include outtakes, remixes, and alternate versions of songs from the original record.
