Yesterday, February 25, SoundCloud users experienced difficulty accessing the platform as the streaming service was down for approximately an hour in the middle of the afternoon. Trying to play any song, or look at user profiles, was met with an error message and a “Retry” button. The service resumed normally later.
Today, SoundCloud went down again at approximately the same time in the afternoon, if not a little earlier, with users experiencing similar symptoms of yesterday’s outage. It is currently back up after being inaccessible for around 30-45 mins.
When asked for comment, a representative for SoundCloud told Your EDM, “SoundCloud indeed experienced an unexpected outage this afternoon, but happy to note it was quickly resolved. The site is now fully restored.”
